Celebrate Mother’s Day a little differently this year with a creative candle making experience in the House of Hobby Candle Lab. Spend a relaxed morning pouring your own soy candles, creating beautiful reed diffusers, and enjoying quality time together while making something special to take home.

During this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn the art of candle making from start to finish — from heating wax and blending fragrances to pouring your candles into vessels. You’ll also create your own reed diffuser, perfect for bringing beautiful fragrance into your home.

Our candle expert will share their favourite tips and tricks to help you create successful candles every time, including how to reuse containers and care for your candles so they burn beautifully for as long as possible.

This workshop is perfect for anyone curious about candle making, and it makes a particularly lovely experience to share with Mum or someone special. It’s a relaxed, creative session designed to help you slow down, enjoy time together, and create something meaningful to take home.

What this workshop includes:

• Create 2 hand-poured soy candles — 1 large candle and 1 small candle

• Create 1 reed diffuser

• A selection of beautiful fragrances to choose from

• All supplies and equipment needed to make your candles and diffuser from scratch

• Guidance from our experienced candle facilitator

• A special keepsake for you and Mum to take home

• Mimosas on arrival and refreshments throughout the session

• Grazing nibbles to enjoy during the workshop
