Settle in with a glass of wine and discover the joy of painting botanicals in watercolour. Guided by a House of Hobby creative expert, you’ll learn the basics of watercolour painting and explore simple techniques for creating beautiful leaves, flowers and botanical details.
You don’t need to be “good at art” or have any previous painting experience, this workshop is all about slowing down, having a play with colour and enjoying the process.
Whether you’re joining us for a creative catch-up with friends, a little solo self-care, or simply want to try something new, all skill levels are welcome.

Just yourself! Everything you need for the workshop is provided.
You’re welcome to wear something you feel comfortable creating in, but watercolour is a relatively clean hobby, no apron required.
A little more about the workshop
Our Watercolour & Wine workshops are designed to be approachable, social and completely beginner-friendly. You’ll be guided through the fundamentals before having plenty of time to experiment and develop your own botanical painting.
There’s no pressure to create a perfect masterpiece, we’re much more interested in helping you discover how enjoyable painting can be.
House of Hobby works with some of Perth’s best creatives to create memorable, hands-on experiences that make it easy to try something new.
