Resin: Flower Trays

  • House of Hobby Workshops 28 Drummond Place West Perth, WA, 6005 Australia (map)

Love a little tray to hold your jewellery, trinkets, or favourite snacks? Ever wondered how these flower resin trays are made? This hands-on workshop is your chance to create a beautiful resin flower tray that’s both functional and completely unique.

In this beginner friendly resin workshop, you’ll learn how to cast your own homewares using casting resin. Guided by our talented host Gemma, you’ll be taken step-by-step through the casting process and introduced to techniques that allow pressed flowers and pigments to shine.

You’ll choose from a curated selection of pressed flowers and pigments to customise your colour palette and design a tray that reflects your personal style. You are also welcome to bring your own pressed flowers to include.

This workshop is beginner-friendly and relaxed, making it perfect for anyone curious about resin, casting, or trying something new in a supportive, creative space.

What this workshop includes:

- All materials, pigments, and equipment required to make your tray. We will provide casting moulds for you to use on the day.

- Tips and tricks about where to buy different moulds and resin and how to continue creating at home

- Refreshments & Nibbles throughout
