Unwind together for a hands-on, creative evening at our Pottery & Pint Date Night Workshop. Guided by a local potter, you and your partner will get your hands dirty, while learning how to hand build your own custom mugs, vases, or bowls from scratch.
What to Expect:
Beginner Friendly Pottery Workshop: Learn clay shaping, joining, and building techniques to bring your ceramic keepsakes to life.
Brew & Bites: Sip on a fresh Rocky Ridge pint and enjoy a shared grazing spread while you craft, included in your ticket price. Non Alcoholic options also available.
Open to Everyone: No prior pottery experience required, just bring your partner or a friend, relax, and enjoy trying a new creative skill together.
Grab your favourite person, enjoy a craft beer, and create lasting memories (and ceramics) together.
What to bring: Clay is wonderfully messy! We recommend wearing clothes you don’t mind getting dirty, or an apron (which we have available at the venue).
Important info: After the workshop, your pieces will be bisque fired, white gloss glazed, and glaze fired before being ready for you to collect in 8 weeks, from our studio in West Perth.
Pottery can be a fun challenge, and not every piece will turn out as expected. Don’t worry, though—our expert will guide you through the process, and while ceramics can be unpredictable, we’ll do our best to help you create something you’ll love. Occasionally, pieces may break during firing, but rest assured, we'll help you craft a beautiful, functional final piece.
