Botanical Pressed Pottery - Creative Clay Workshop at 11 Acre Farm.

  • 11 Acre Farm 448 Nicholson Road Forrestdale WA 6112 Australia (map)

Special Pop-up workshop up at the hobby farm of our dreams 11 Acre Farm in Forrestdale.
Join us for a creative Sunday afternoon at our Botanical Pressed Pottery Workshop in this beautiful location, where you’ll learn the art of hand-building ceramics with one of our ceramic experts. In this hands-on session, you’ll explore the beauty of free-form pottery, crafting unique mugs, snack boards, and bowls using your own hands and imagination.

Our expert will guide you through techniques to bring your botanical-inspired designs to life, including how to press botanicals directly onto your creations, you'll have plenty of time to create your own pieces, whether you're a first-timer or seasoned potter!

This workshop is perfect for a fun morning with friends, a creative date occasion, or a chance to unwind and try something new. All skill levels are welcome!

What’s included:

  • All tools and materials, including clay and botanical (you are welcome to bring along items that are special to you).

  • Firing and glazing for 2 pieces

  • Expert instructions from our team of hobby experts

  • A grazing board to enjoy during the session provided by 11 Acre farm

  • Prosecco on arrival and throughout (The bar will also be open during the session)

What to bring: Clay is wonderfully messy! We recommend wearing clothes you don’t mind getting dirty, or an apron (which we have available at the workshop).

Important info: After the workshop, your pieces will be bisque fired, clear glazed, and glaze fired before being ready for you to collect from 11 Acre farm in 6-8 weeks.

If you create more than 2 items, you can pay a small kiln & glazing fee per additional piece to make them ready for use. Prices depend on the size of your creations.

Pottery can be a fun challenge, and not every piece will turn out as expected. Don’t worry, though, our expert will guide you through the process, and while ceramics can be unpredictable, we’ll do our best to help you create something you’ll love. Occasionally, pieces may break during firing, but rest assured, we'll help you craft a beautiful, functional final piece.

This experience is unlike any other and is not to be missed.
