NEW Hobby Discovery: Watercolours, Flowers & Clay

  • House of Hobby Workshops 28 Drummond Place West Perth, WA, 6005 Australia (map)

What if your next favourite hobby is something you haven’t tried yet?

Our Hobby Discovery workshop is a curated half-day experience designed to take you out of your everyday routine and into a few hours of creativity, curiosity and play.

Guided by our Creative Director, Emilie, you’ll be introduced to three completely different creative hobbies, each with its own process and way of bringing you into the present moment. There’s no experience necessary, no pressure to be “good” at anything, and no expectation to find the one. Just come curious and see what sparks something.

Watercolour

Ease into creativity with the calm and mindful practice of watercolour. You’ll learn the basics of this wonderfully versatile medium while exploring flowers and botanicals, discovering how simple brushstrokes, colour and water can come together to create something beautiful.

Flower Arranging

Get hands-on with flowers and explore texture, colour and form as you curate your very own posy bouquet. This is all about playing with what’s in front of you, trusting your eye and enjoying the simple pleasure of working with flowers.

Pottery

Now, let’s get our hands dirty. Dive into the wonderfully all-consuming world of clay as you learn the basics of working with this tactile medium and create your own ceramic keepsake to take home.

Three hobbies. Three very different creative experiences. One beautiful morning

Come for the experience, stay for the possibility that you might just discover your next favourite hobby.

Included in this experience:‍ ‍

- All creative supplies & firing of your pottery creations
