I am addicted to creative arts and learning – I just want to try everything! I started writing creative stories from a very young age and couldn’t get enough of making a mess with paint and paper. I enjoy doing many different types of creative arts, but the love of my life is creating with yarn. When I was recovering from surgery a few years ago, I picked up some yarn and a crochet hook for the first time and I haven’t looked back. It really was love at first stitch! I’ve recently had a date with wheelwork pottery and cannot wait to have more!

It was during my recovery that I discovered the healing qualities of creative arts and what it means for your wellbeing, and I am now studying to become a Creative Arts Therapist. And I am totally thrilled to be a part of the House of Hobby team because they provide a fun and inviting space for people to create and the time for their self-care.
